1st Webinar about the Silver Economy Awards

Friday, 23 June, 2017 - 10:39

On June 21 the first SEED webinar was jointly held by the project’s consortium members from empirica, AER and City of Ljubljana. The webinar was targeted to all those who are interested in submitting an application, i.e. public authorities (e.g. city, town, region, province), non-for profit actors (e.g. civil society organisation, university) and for-profit actors (e.g. entrepreneurs, service providers, SMEs).

It started with a short introduction to the project and its objectives in general, highlighting the opportunities a multi-stakeholder driven European-level initiative can generate for the Silver Economy movement. After giving an overview on the award concept and prospective timeframe, the consortium members pointed towards the benefits and possible outcomes for applicants including international visibility, a tailored assessment of the submitted solution by sector professionals, as well the chance to network with key stakeholders, investors and EC actors. The participants of the webinar were then guided through the online application process and had the opportunity to direct questions to the consortium members.

As such, the first SEED webinar has constituted the kick-off of a series of sessions aiming at supporting potential submitters to create quality applications for the first European Silver Economy Awards 2018.

The next webinar will take place on the 26th of July at 11.00 CET. To participate please register through the link that you will find soon on our web. In the meantime, the recording of the previous webinar is also available in the Media section.
